Cyril Joseph Agard, also known as "Snapper", was born May 20, 1978 in Ft. Yates, North Dakota to Joseph and Theresa (White Bull) Agard.
Snapper was a descendant of Chief Walking Eagle and carried the name of "Wambli Oma ni" (Walking Eagle).
He left us for the spirit world December 15, 2011, on the day Standing Rock Sioux Tribe commemorates Honoring the Chiefs Day.
Snapper was raised in Bullhead, Kenel and Ft. Yates. He attended school at the Standing Rock Elementary and then went on to Standing Rock High School where he enjoyed playing basketball, football and softball.
He made many friends with whom he enjoyed spending time with. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed listening to music.
Snapper was kind-hearted, friendly and was always joking and making people laugh. He was very loved by his "OG" (Old Gramma) Marie Brave Crow who passed away July 4, 2011.
