Services for Michael Clyde "Mike" Agard, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Agard, of 216 East Northside Dr., Jackson were held Thursday at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of Wright and Ferguson with Dr. Joe H. Tuten, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was made in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mike died Tuesday evening at the family residence. He was a student of Chastain Junior High School, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was a Counselor at the Boys' Club. He also was a carrier for the Clarion Ledger, Jackson Daily News.
Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Glenda Fay Agard; one brother, Steven Patrick Agard.
Pallbearers were Wesley A. Posey, Lamar Noble, Jr., Pat Noble, Steen Patrick, John Richard Walters, Billy Carter, Billy Russell, and Lamar Robinson.
