Homer Agan

Homer Agan, 79, of Numa died Sunday, Aug. 20, 1995, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.
He was born April 16, 1916, in Chariton, the son of Robert and Margaret (Wells) Agan.
He married Edith Miller July 30, 1938, in Unionville, Mo. She survives.
Also surviving are 14 children, Clifford Agan of Chicago, Ill., Wendall Agan and Duane Agan, both of Davenport, Dallas Agan of Buffalo, Russell Agan of Blue Grass, Carl Agan and Danny Agan, both of Centerville, Marietta McGrann and Mike Agan, both of Mystic, Neal Agan and Olen Agan, both of Barstow, Ill., Marilyn Bourland and Linda Mattly, both of Peoria, III., and Sheila Campbell of Jamestown, Mo.; two sisters, Velda Barrell of Seymour and Edna Smith of Ottumwa; 40 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
He lived most of his life in Appanoose County, farming and working in various factories.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a,m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Randolph Funeral Home in Seymour with the Rev. Edgar Foster officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home in Seymour beginning at 10 a.m. today, Monday, with a visitation at 7 p.m. Interment will be in the Numa Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the family.
