Betsy Marie Potter Adkins, age 45, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Betsy was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was a member of Dante Church of God. She enjoyed gospel music and camping. Betsy was an honor graduate of West High School and a paralegal graduate of Pellissippi State College.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, the Lones' and the Potters. She is survived by the love of her life, son, Logan T. Owens; parents, William G. "Bill" and Roberta Potter; sisters, Julie (Bill) Perry and Abbie (Owen) Hoover; brother, G. L. "Boog" (Jeanne) Potter; several nieces and nephews, as well as many treasured friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at Marble City Baptist Church, 2738 Sutherland Ave., Knoxville, TN 37919 followed by a 4:00 PM funeral service, Pastor Curtis Akers and Reverend Gibbs Hammond officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:30 PM, Monday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a graveside service. Online condolences may be sent to www.rosemortuary.com.
