CHRISTOPHER BRENT ADKINS passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at his home in Houston, Texas at the age of 49. He was born on May 25, 1961 in Bellefonte, Kentucky to Christopher Carroll and Needa Adkins. Brent was preceded in death by his father Christopher Carroll Adkins. He is survived by his children Casey and David, mother Needa , brothers Bryant Adkins, Mark Caskey and Hollie Davis, sisters Diana Lucas, Christi Adkins and Laura Sanchez. Several aunt and uncles, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Carmen Funeral Home (606) 836-5833, 2301 Argillite Road, Flatwoods, KY 41139-1953. A grave side service will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Brent worked for Bush Intercontinental Airlines in Houston, Texas until his illness. He was of Christian faith and participated as a missionary in Zaire in his mid twenties. He will fondly be remembered by his witty sense of humor, compassionate heart for others and zest for life. We will miss you our loving brother, father, uncle and son.
