Ida's parents was arguing and David was suppose to of push Violet. Not realizing or forgetting that she was close to the top of the stairs, when she went backwards she did not grab the handrail before falling and Violet tumble down the stairs and broke her neck. Violet was pregnant with Ida.
Most likely Ida was laid with her mother, Violet Anita 'Roach'-Adaway.
