LouAnn Adamson, 74, of Parkersburg passed away March 17, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born Oct. 22, 1931, in Onego, W.Va., a daughter of the late Glenn Adamson and Nellie Rains. She was a lifelong member of the Christ United Methodist Church and was active in various organizations in Parkersburg. She retired from GMAC with 32 years of service in accounting.
Survivors include a sister, Bernice Thompson and husband, Arthur, of Seneca Rocks, W.Va., and numerous cousins, including Leslie Ann Lilly and husband, Arnet, of Cortland, Ohio.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastors David Grueser, Perry Stewart and Barbara Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
