She was born to Frank and Sophie (Kowalski) Sidorik.
Helen moved to Battle Creek where she graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1941.
While working for her parents, she met Charlie Will Adamson who was stationed at Fort Custer. They married March 10, 1946 after Charlie returned from World War II. They had eight children.
Helen was a homemaker who canned food, sewed clothes, and of course cared for her family.
Helen did her best to raise her children and support them throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Karl Shifky and her husband in 2002.
Surviving are a half-sister, Lucille Kuhlman; six daughters, Diane Inman, Gina (Steve) Taylor, Sophie (Rick) Sullivan, Micki (Paul) Thurmond, Becki (Al) Matthews, and Amanda Adamson; two sons, Charlie Will, Jr. and Earl (Angela) Adamson; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grand children.
Funeral, was with Pastor Eric Perry, Cornerstone Community Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Doris Klaussen Developmental Center.
The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home.
