Our beloved mom, grandma and friend passed away peacefully on May 7, 2014. Her beloved husband and precious daughter Jill came to take her back home.
Laura was born on February 7, 1920 in Parowan, Utah to Clifford Jesse and Margaret Melling Stubbs.. She was raised in Parowan, Utah and graduated from Parowan High School.
She married her sweetheart Dyle Adams on December 23, 1947 in Pioche, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple.
She is survived by her two sons, Jim (Marie) Adams and Kim (Jerilee) Adams, 8 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. Also, 2 sisters Arlene Barrick and Lyla Truman. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Dyle, her beautiful daughter Jill, her grandson Shawn and her brothers Garth, Roy and DeMar.
Laura was a perfect example of Christ-like love and service to others. Though small in frame she had a heart as big as the universe. Her family was her whole world and she was their whole world. She also loved and served neighbors and friends.
We would like to express our deepest love and appreciation to the staff of Intermountain Hospice Care for the loving hands who gently cared for mom in her time of need. We love you.
At mom's request, Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parowan City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
