Funeral services for Ms. Otazell Peebles Adams will be held 3 PM Sunday, March 6, 2016 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. David Chandler officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016 at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.

Ms. Adams, 97, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Oaks Rehabilitation Healthcare Services in Meridian, Miss.

She grew up in the Deemer Community, lived in Florida and then returned to Neshoba County.

She worked at U.S. Electrical Motors.

Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with family. Ms. Adams was a member of Southside Methodist Church and attended First Assembly Church in Meridian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud Peebles and Martha Roberta Ray Peebles; husband, Roy Cleveland Adams;
son, Jimmy D. Adams; grandson, Craig Adams; sisters, Hazel Ladd, Lukie J. Carter, Pauline Smith, Jane Carter, Alma Eakes, Dorothy Brantley and Velma (Bill) Morris; brothers, Cecil Peebles, Edward Peebles, James Peebles, Henry Ford Peebles, Dan Peebles, Claude (Jack) Peebles.


Survivors are daughters, Cecelia J. Adams Bruce of Wautoma, WI and Cynthia Adams Brown (Russell) of Meridian; son, Harold F. Adams (Margarett) of NC; sister, Zelma (Tut) Henley of Philadelphia; (12) grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
