Florence J. Adams, 96, died Feb. 21, 2015. She was born Nov. 8, 1918 in Seville, FL to Joe and Gladys Buckles, early settlers of Volusia Co.

She moved to Daytona Beach in 1941 and was employed as a legal secretary for 30 years. She enjoyed her memberships in the Moose, Eagles, and American Legion Aux. and her time at Bishop's Glen Retirement Center.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband Reese, son Richard, and brothers and sisters, Edna, Howard, Clifford, Ruth and Grace. She is survived by her son Marleau, daughter-in-law Anita, brother Leon Buckles, faithful family friend, Jim McNerney, and many nieces and nephews.

The family is very grateful for the wonderful and compassionate care provided by Bishop's Glen and gives special thanks to the Vitas Hospice staff. Burial will be at the family plot in Hillside Cemetery, Ormond Beach, FL.
