Robert Roscoe Adams, 77, S. Main St., Port Matilda, died Sun., March 28 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born in Halfmoon Twp., to Mahlon W. & Gladys (Jones) Adams. He was twice married, first to E. Joanne Wager, June 2, 1956, who died in 1980, then to Betty Homan in 1988. Surviving are his wife; sons: Robert D. & wife, Karen; Mark S., all of Port Matilda; and Kevin J. & Mary, Tyrone; daughter, Lori S., Port Matilda; stepchildren: Michael Homan, Port Matilda & Ronald Homan, Mossel Bay, South Africa; grandchildren: Jason A. Adams; Nicole Snyder; Joanne Hart & April A. Adams; step grandchildren: Dustin, Shawn, Amber, Emil and Angelo Homan; gr. grandchildren: Benjamin Knarr & Skyla Hart; and step brothers: Axle & Charles Spicer, both of Tyrone. He was predeceased by a sister. U.S. Army, Korean War veteran. He was a plumber with Cerro Brass Products for 37 years, retiring in 1995. Member, Ross United Methodist Church; life member, Port Matilda Vol. Fire Co. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark. Interment, Ross Cemetery.
