IDAHO STATE JOURNAL POCATELLO IDAHO APRIL 12, 1991 WILBURN ADAMS, ROCKLAND-Wilburn Joshua Adams, age 75 years, of Rockland, died Thursday, April 11, at Pocatello Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 18, 1915, in Rockland, to Charles Henry Adams and Josephine Lewis Adams. He was a charter member of the Rockland American Legion Post No. 78 for 46 years, a member of the National Association of Post-masters, and was the postmaster of Rockland for 40 years to the day, retiring Aug. 31,1990. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1942-46.
He is survived by one cousin, Bert Osterhout, West Frankfort, Illl., he leaves behind many close friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m., at the Rockland LDS Ward Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Valleyview Cemetery in Rockland. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Mortuary of American Falls.
