Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Adams, 61, 324 Oneida Street, who died at 6:15 p. m. Friday in a Hospltal at Independence, Iowa, of paralysis, will be at, 2 p. m. Tuesday in Payne chapel, A. M. E. church. Rev. J. Parker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Jennie Hoosman, daughter of Henry and Fannie Hoosman, was born at Durant, Miss., Dec. 17, 1872. She had been a resident of Waterloo since 1916.

Her first husband, James Griggs, died 30 years ago in Durant, Miss., and her second husband, Anderson Adams, died in 1931 at Durant.

Surviving are three sons, Theodore Griggs, 206 Merriman Street; Charles Griggs, 231 Onelda Street, and James Griggs. Jr., Kansas City, Kan.; four brothers: John H. Hoosman, 303 Albany Street; James Hoosman, 324 Oneida street; William Hoosman, 212 Bates Street, and Washington Hoosman, Friar Point, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Crokett, 324 Oneida Street; Mrs. Vergle Adams, Durant, Miss., and Mrs. Caliie Brazell, Lula, Miss., and her mother. Mrs. Fannie Hoosman, 324 Oneida Street.

The body was taken to the Kearns Funeral Home.
