Anthony Dwayne Adams, age 53, of Shannon, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Anthony was born October 24, 1963, in Floyd County. He was employed by the family business Adams Furniture for 22 years, he was a composed musician playing lead guitar for many bands throughout the country. Anthony loved motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Ed and Martha Adams, and Everett and Beatrice Phillips.
Survivors include sons, Zachery Logan, and Joshua Corbin, parents, Donald and Shirley Phillips Adams, sister, Anjanett (Williams) Fletcher, special friends, Lucille Maddox, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2016, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Oaknoll Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
