Mr. Adams, a retired farmer and carpenter died Thursday at Van Buren Convalescent Home in Lincoln Park after a long illness.
He was reared in Madison County, and had lived in Lincoln Park for the past seven years.
In 1916, he was married to Alma Conner Adams, who survives. He was a member of the Ararat Baptist Church.
He also leaves a son, Conner Adams, Milford, MI; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Fite, Lincoln Park, MI; a brother, Louis Adams, Madison County, TN; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are George Neely, Chandler Mullis, Bobbie Couch, Charles Hardee, Johnny Dougan, and Phillip Dougan. Honorary casketbearers are the men of the adult Bible class of Ararat Baptist Church.
