Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Monday from five until seven o'clock. Mr. Adams was born September 27, 1930 in Walterboro, SC, the son of Dan Eddie Adams, Jr., and Ronella Nettles Adams. He was a retired commercial superintendent with Adams Construction Company.
He was the recipient of The Craftsman Award in 1977 by the South Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
He was a member of Fort Johnson Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons: Jack Thomas Adams of Columbia, SC and Vernon Frank Adams of North Charleston, SC: two stepsons: Arnie Ferguson and his wife Sheri of James Island, SC and Brian Ferguson of James Island, SC; two sisters: Isabella Catterton of Yemasee, SC and Betty Gates of Two Harbors, MI; two brothers: Dan Eddie Adams, Jr., and Norman Douglas Adams, both of Lady's Island, SC; and three grandchildren: Ryan Ferguson, Kelley Ferguson and Patrick Ferguson.
