Artist E. "Jean" Adams, age 87, of Van Wert, Ohio and formerly of Perrysburg, Ohio died May 7, 2014. She was born in Clovis, New Mexico on December 25, 1926, to Elmer T. and Reatha M. (Odeneal) Dunn. In October, 1947, she married Robert L. Helvoigt, ending in divorce in 1955, and on December 17, 1955, she married Robert B. Adams. Artist was employed by Flower Hospital as a registered nurse, retiring in 1977 and she was involved in the Peace Corps and served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She is survived by her 6 children; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. Artist was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Reatha; stepfather, Bill Christel; husband, Robert; as well as her brother, Ted.
