The funeral for James W. "Jimmy" Adams, 47, of Fremont will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Evangelical Free Church in Fremont.
He died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.
He was born Dec. 6, 1958, in Wahoo to R. James and Rosetta J. (Schultz) Adams. He grew up on the farm south of Fremont in Saunders County. He graduated from Fremont High School and worked on the family farm.
He was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Fremont.
Survivors include: his father and stepmother, R. Jim and Betty Adams of rural Fremont; a sister, Robin Adams of Fremont; a stepbrother, John (and wife, Theresa) Lambrecht of Graham, Wash.; and two nephews, August and Gunnar Lambrecht of Graham.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosetta, grandparents, three uncles and an aunt.
The Rev. Rob Spykstra will officiate Friday's service. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Thursday at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont with family receiving friends from 6:30-8 p.m.
Memorials have been established to Mosaic, Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Evangelical Free Church.
