John William Adams, 54, of Route 3, Owenton, died Friday at Owen County Memorial Hospital. He was employed by the Owen County Maintenance Department. He was a member of Stamping Ground Masonic Lodge and the Cedar Baptist Church, Owen County, and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Adams; a son, Robb Adams, at home; a stepson, Scotty Moore of Warsaw; daughters, Melinda Giles of Monterey, Shawn Greenlee of Owenton and Dawn Adams, at home; brothers, Robert Boaz of Ghent and Lewis Boaz of Milton; and sisters, Betty Williamson and Ludie Lee Henry, both of Warsaw.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Monterey.
