OTHA ADAMS
Funeral services for Otha Adams, 94, Snyder will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, Snyder, with the Rev. Keith Wiginton, officiating.
Mrs. Adams died Tuesday in an Altus hospital after a long illness.
Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Preston-Leckie Funeral Home.
She was born May 8, 1891, in Texas. She came to Oklahoma with her parents, the late Wylie and Martha Ann Adams Thompson in 1900. They lived in Mangum & moved to Snyder in 1901 where her father homesteaded a farm. She has been a resident of the Snyder community since moving here with her parents in 1901. She married Grady Littlefield in 1910. He preceded her in death in 1913. She then married Olen Adams December 13, 1917, in Wichita Falls, TX. He also preceded her in death on May 26, 1979. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Tressie Wright, Ft. Worth, TX; and Blanche Wilhite, Snyder. 1 son, Raymond, preceded her in death, a sister, Vee Otwell, Amarillo, TX; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
