Katherine Henley Adams, 98 of Columbus, KY passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 9:40 AM at Clinton-Hickman Co. ICF. She was a retired postmaster at the Columbus Post Office where she served for 20 years. She was also an Avon Representative for over 20 years and was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia Bryan of Paducah, 2 brothers, Lindy (Louise) Henley of Columbus and Jack (Nova) Henley of Paducah, sister-in-law Alma Henley Harris of Metropolis, 17 nieces and nephews, 30 great nieces and nephews 38 great-great nieces and nephews, several great-great-great nieces and nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson J. Adams, her parents William Earnest Henley and Ina Hollingsworth Henley, 2 brothers, Bill and James Henley, and 2 sisters, Imogene Stone and Edith Adams.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton, with Rev. Max Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 AM on Friday until the funeral hour. Donations: Zion Cemetery, c/o Lindy Henley, 12144 ST RT 123 West, Clinton, KY 42031. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
