Anna M. Adam, 83, Allentown, formerly of Kutztown, died July 13 at 3:15 a.m. in Lehigh Valley Hospital near Allentown, where she had been a patient since June 20. Her husband, Luther H. Adam, died April 26, 1999. Born in Maxatawny Township, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Bertha (Dietrich) Coller. Adam was employed from 1968 to 1983 as a sewing machine operator by Kutztown Sportswear. She was a member of Zion (Moselem) Lutheran Church, Richmond Township, where she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 30 years and a former council woman. Adam was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels in the Lehigh County. Surviving are a daughter, and three sons. Other survivors include a sister, and four grandchildren and a stepgranddaughter. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Zion (Moselem) Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Ludwick Funeral Homes Inc., Kutztown, is in charge of arrangements.
