Mrs. Acy was retired from Greenwood Leflore Hospital, where she was a nurse's aide, and from Baldwin Piano & Organ Co., where she was a group leader. A native of Carroll County, she resided there for most of her life. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Acy; and a son, Robert C. Acy.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy A. Smith of Coila; four sisters, Floy Ellis of Black Hawk, Ida Alderman of Greenwood, Grace Tice of Cleveland and Bess Norville of Jackson; one brother, Edward Dunn of Tupelo; two grandsons, Chad Smith and Brad Smith; and one great-grandson, Riley Smith.
The Rev. Larry Edwards and the Rev. Keith Ramage will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Malone Dunn, Charlie Holeman, Frank Holeman, Boot Ellis, Jeff Dunn and Callaway Harris.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 this evening at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.
