ACUFF, WALTER JONES Walter Jones Acuff, age 72, of Louisville, KY born in Birmingham, AL died peacefully June 11, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Phyllis Jean Acuff, his parents Willie and Fannie Williams, and his sisters Lorene Hicks and Charlena Thrasher.
Survivors include his children, James (Angeline), Ricky Lee and Toney Charleston, Angela Shaw, Karen and LaGreta Acuff; Sisters, Barbara Young (King), Geraldine Key, Patricia Hammond (Rannie), ALeita Kiwanuka (Suleman); Brother, Willie Williams (Stacy): 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Friday at Fifth Street Baptist Church, Louisville, KY.
Burial in Green Meadows Cemetery.
