Mrs. Phyllis Murphy Acton, 35, of Ottumwa Route 2 died at 12:45 p.m. May 17 at University Hospitals in Iowa City of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Ottumwa to Ted and Mary Darner Murphy.
Survivors: a son, Marty Green of Bloomfield; daughters, Shelly Green of LaVista, Neb.; her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Williamson of Ottumwa Route 2; brothers Bob Murphy of Moline, Ill., and Pat Murphy of Belvidere, Ill.; a sister, Debbie Bogdan of Ottumwa; and a grandmother, Leta Darner of Ottumwa.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Donald Ripley of Bethany Baptist Church officiating. Burial: Shaul Cemetery.
