The other death we are called to note and mourn is that of one of our most loved and lovable young ladies, Miss Harriet Louise Acker, who departed on Sunday afternoon, in her 26th year. Miss Acker was the youngest child of Judge W. T. Acker, and was the center of a group of young ladies to whom she had endeared herself by her uniform kindness and childlike disposition. She was a member of the M. E. Church, and a devout Christian, and, although a great sufferer for many months, all was borne with resignation and Christian fortitude.

She has been cut down in the full bloom of womanhood, like a flower in the morning when covered in spangling dew, and nothing is left to her large circle of friends save the influence of her pure life and happy and triumphant death. Her father, mother, brothers and sisters have suffered a sore breavement, but in this hour of their great sorrow the sympathy of the whole community are with them for she was beloved by all.
