STINNETT - Services for John Rollo Achord, 53, who died Wednesday in North Plains Hospital are pending with Simpson Funeral Home of Stinnett.

Achord was born in Springfield, Mo., and had been a resident of Stinnett since 1957. He was a heavy equipment operator for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Co.

He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bette; a son, Johnny Douglas of Pampa; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Jones of Dumas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Achord of Baycliff; three brothers, seven sisters and one grandchild.

STINNETT - Services for John Rollo Achord, 53, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First Christian Church here with the Rev. Ed Seal officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home of Stinnett.

Achord died Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, a son, a daughter, his parents, three brothers, seven sisters and one grandchild.

Casketbearers will be Utah Bentley, Ed Allison, Tate Poovey, E.C. Price, B.F. O'Gorman and Ronnie Griffin.
