Beulah was born the daughter of Erick and Anna (Groth) Gudmundson. She attended grade school at the Iona Public School, graduated from Slayton High School in 1936 and received her teacher training in Windom, MN. She taught two years in country schools. Beulah was united in marriage to Arthur Abramson on June 8, 1939. They purchased a farm east of Slayton, MN where they lived, until they moved into Slayton after retiring. Beulah later moved to Litchfield to live with her daughter Ann. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading, tailoring, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Ann Abramson, Joan (Steve) Pankonin, Lynn (Roger Francis) Abramson and Mark Abramson; 3 grandsons Bradley Pankonin, Brian (Penny) Pankonin and Charles Hill; and 4 great grandchildren Kayla, McKenna, Greysen and Jessiah Pankonin.

She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur; brother and sisters Clara Trosin, Linda Ginn, Delilah Griffith, Margaret Gudmundson, Vera Bergman, Ruth Taylor and infant brother Damon.

Beulah, age 95, passed away at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held May 8, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield.
