She was born Nov. 25, 1911, in Charleston, a daughter of the late Abraham Ochowitz and Sarah Wertel Ochowitz. She lived in Georgetown for many years prior to moving to Austin. She was the widow of Sydney David Abrams.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Abrams of Austin; a sister, Ermine Hauchman of Durham, N.C.; three grandchildren, Stephen Adelson and his wife, Elissa, of Seattle, Amy Smith and her husband, Nathan, and Mia Poole and her husband, J.C., all of Austin; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter Adelson, Alexis Smith and Cami Poole.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Beth Elohim Cemetery in Georgetown. Rabbi Mitchell Kornspan will officiate.
Memorials may be made to any charity.
