Peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2001 at Memorial Regional Medical Center, Laura Abrams of Ashland, Va. was called to rest. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Abrams, who died on October 23, 2000. She is survived by three children, Henry M., Lionel B. Sr., and Terry M. Abrams; one daughter-in-law, six grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Toliver and Audrey Brown; two brothers, Nathaniel and Rev. Thomas Winston; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy. where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday at Providence Baptist Church, Ashland, Va. Dr. Levy Armwood officiating.
