Mrs. Nabiha Abraham

Mrs. Nabiha Abraham, 84, of 1212 Clearview Ave., died at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital after a lingering illness.

She was born in Syria on June 4, 1890. Mrs. Abraham was a member of St. Elias Syrian Orthodox Church and the Ladies Society of the church.

Her husband John Abraham died in 1938.

She is survived by three sons, James of Las Vegas, Nev., William of Beaver, Pa., and Louis of Carrollton, Ohio; two daughters, Wageeha Abraham in Syria and Mrs. Gus (Amelia) Harris of Warren, Ohio; a brother in Syria and 12 grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the William P. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. The service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in St. Elias Syrian Orthodox Church, conducted by the Rev. George Brunish. The procession will leave the funeral home at 9.30 a.m. for the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
