Mrs. Bernice Ira Ables, 74 years old, died Tuesday at the Sikeston Hospital after being a patient for three days.
Mrs. Ables was born Dec. 17, 1888 in Berkley, Ky., the daughter of James and Sarah (Patterson) Holder. In July, 1910, she was married to Eli Ables. He died in 1955.
Surviving are a brother, James Porter Holder; and four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Chandler, Mrs. Mabel Ballentine, Mrs. George Stermon and Miss Mary Holder.
The body is at the Nunnelee Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday. Burial will be in the Sikeston City Cemetery.
