He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Abernathy of Hayti; Two daughters, Mrs. Annie Frankum of Hayti and Mrs. Jean Fatchett of Memphis.
One sister, Mrs. Iberia Throgmorton of Halls, Tenn.; Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were July 30 at 2 p.m. at John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti. the Rev. Miles Zeigler officiating, with burial in the Halls Cemetery.
Pallbearers were George Metzger, Byron Tinsley, Leonard Plunkett, Lawrence Chidester, Raymond Dawson and B.A. Cross.
