RICHARDSON, Texas — Shasta Abernathy Trent, 82, 813 Ridgedale Drive, formerly of Lincolnton, died Aug. 2, 1999, at Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, Texas.
She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Walter Lee and Ida Pearl Ballard Abernathy.
Shasta was the wife of the late Thomas Henry Trent and preceeded by her brother the Carroll C. Abernathy
Ms. Trent was a retired secretary from Texas Research Foundation and did volunteer work at Baylor University Medical Center for many years
She was a member of Richardson Heights Baptist Church.
