Funeral services for Mrs. Charles (Eliza C. "Elizabeth" ) Abell, age 54, who died on March 25, 1934 at the Guthrie hospital, were held in the First Baptist church at Guthrie with Rev. H. H. Boston delivering the sermon.
Interment was at Lawrie cemetery under the direction of the Smith and Gooch funeral home.
Mrs. Abell, who lived on a farm southwest of Mulhall had been ill for some months. She had a major operation and had been hospitalized for two days prior to her death.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Brownie Gooch who resides near Mulhall.
