He attended grade school at District 50 in Merrick County. Danny was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist faith. In 1960 he moved with his family to Columbus, Nebraska. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1967, where he was on the varsity football team. He was an active member of the Demolay. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and worked for 10 years at Brunswick in Lincoln as a purchasing agent. He moved to California where he resided for a number of years. Danny then moved to Colorado and was salesman for Aero Tech Industries. He moved back to Lincoln in the past year. His hobby was designing and constructing houses with his brother Gary. He was a lover of the outdoors and spent many hours with his cats and dog. He enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle.
