Marion Elizabeth Abel Virts, age 91, of Hillsboro, VA, died January 12, 2013 at Heritage Hall, Leesburg, VA. Born on December 25, 1921, in Virginia she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Elsie Abel. Mrs. Virts was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking movie stars, loved to write, draw, read, and she loved her emailing machine.
She was predeceased by her husband Berkley Virts, two sisters Dorothy Davis and Lorraine Abel Main. She is survived by her niece and nephew, Tom Virts of Philomont and Milee McDonald of Middletown, MD.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Purcellville, VA from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 17, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
