Amelia Ann Abel, wife of George Abel Sr died at her home in Aberdeen Friday night. Born in Dover, England 81 years ago, where she married her husband. Shortly after marriage she moved to America, in Salina, Kansas.

Following her sons, Mr and Mrs Abel moved to Grays Harbor county eleven years ago and have since made their home in Aberdeen.

Mrs Abel had been sick for some months. Private funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock in St Andrews church, Aberdeen, Rev Green officiating. Interment was at Wynooche Cemetery, near Montesano.
