Carrie Jane Abbott, 77, of Clare, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1987, in the Clare Community Hospital.
She was born on May 18, 1910, to Andrew & Jessie (Haouse) Garrow in Canada. She move to Clare in 1964. She married George Abbott on Dec, 18, 1964, in Clare and he predeceased her.
Mrs. Abbott is survived by a sister, Margaret Schwarts of Brooklyn, ML, and a sister-in-law, Hazel Garrow of Grand Haven.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 14, 1987, at 11:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hilliard officiating. Burial was in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare. (Clare Sentinel dated 17 November 1987-Thanks, Tom)
