DEATH OF ORPHA ABBOT
The said death of little Orpha Abbott occurred Sunday night at 12:30 o'clock, after an illness of four weeks. The little girl, who was 12 years of age, had been badly afflicted with rheumatism, which developed into complications and finally resulted in her death. She had never been considered dangerously ill until the very last as the complications were thought to be only a minor character, and that rheumatism was her main trouble. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Abbott, who reside at 901 E. Maple street. She was always an industrious child and one who took much interest in her school work, always making friends, who will miss her in their play. The funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Glendenning officiating.
