Mr. Lamar Jackson Abbott, Sr. of McDonough, Georgia died Wednesday May 19, 2010 at Riverside Healthcare in Covington.
He was born on December 30, 1922, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Andrew Jackson and Mittie Barksdale Abbott, he loved farming and his dogs, especially Toby. He retired from J. M. Clayton Company in 1985, and was a member of I.B.E.W. local 613 for over 60 years. Mr. Abbott was precedded in death by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Daniel Abbott.
