She and Uncle Dan were like parents to my Grandmother, Kate ONeill Abbott Reid, whos father was John O Abbott, Dan's brother, who died when Kate was a young girl. Aunt Nellie was loved and cherished. Uncle Dan is buried in Arlington Natl Cemetery. They had no children that lived to adulthood.
