ABBOTT, CORA ELLEN, 75, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Cora was a member of Garfield Ave Baptist Church, enjoyed playing bingo and loved her grandchildren dearly. Four brothers and three sisters precede her in death. Daughter, Pamela Pollard (Charles); son, William Peck Sr. (Cindy); four stepdaughters; five stepsons; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews survive her. A service celebrating the life of Cora will be 12 p.m. Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
