Star City - James Hall "Buster" Morgan, 90, of Star City died Monday at Murphy Health and Rehabilitation at Star City.

He was born May 27, 1914, in Lincoln County, a son of the late James Nathaniel Morgan and Alice Catherine Hall Morgan.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

He was a retired farmer.

He was a member of the Branchville Masonic Lodge 256 at Star City and the Forrest City Masonic Logde. He was also a member of the Scottish Rites 32nd degree Mason of the West Memphis Lodge.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Nelson, one brother, Mack Morgan; and tow sisters, Bessie Moore and Doris Baugh.

Survivors include is wife, Emma Morgan; one daughter, Doris Ann Morgan of Mountain View (Stone County); two sisters, Jessie Owen and Eula Baugh, both of Star City; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Griffin Funeral Service of Star City with Greg Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Leek Cemetery in Star City.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
