Mrs. Minnie Elliott
Mrs. Minnie Katherine Elliott, 66, a lifelong resident of the Moro area, died Tuesday at 4:45 p.m., at her home in Moro following an illness of nine months. She was the widow of Wilbur Elliott, who died April 2, 1936. Her marriage took place Jan 15, 1913.
Mrs. Elliott, a daughter of the late Arend and Elise Wohlert Hinrichs, was born Feb 15, 1887, in Bunker Hill.
She was a member for many years of Moro Presbyterian Church and pastor of the church, the Rev. Cecil Allin, assisted by the Rev. J. A. Oesch, will conduct services Friday at 2 p.m., in the church. The body is at Smith Funeral Home, Bethalto, where friends many call after 7 p.m., Thursday and until noon Friday when the body will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilford (Loretta) Suessen of Bethalto, and Mrs. Bernard (Marguerite) Hufker of Moro; two brothers, Harry Hinrichs, Alton, and George Hendricks, Moro, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Thomas, Moro.
