Shreveport Times, Ben Elmore. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, Bossier City, for Ben Elmore, 51, or Haughton. The Rev. A.D. Lawton will officiate, and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Elmore died Tuesday at 3:10 p.m. at his residence following a sudden illness. A native of Magnolia, Ark., he had lived in Haughton for three years. He was an employee of East Ridge Country Club.
He is survived by his widow; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Manning of Magnolia; two sons, Sherrell Elmore and Ronald Elmore, both of Haughton; three daughters, Linda Roche of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Brenda Morrison of Abingdon, Ill., and Shirley Villard of Clarksville, Tenn.; five sisters, Bessie Johnson, and Bama Gray, both of Magnolia, Betress Kilpatrick of Hope, Ark., Belvern Daniels of McNeil Ark., and Bunche Young of Houma; and six brothers, Bertram Elmore of Home, Barton Elmore of Hot Springs, Ark., Britton Elmore of McComb, Miss., Barge Elmore of Chattanooga, Tenn., Baucum Elmore of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Blannon Elmore of Los Angeles, Calif.
