He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Trudell Adams of Wardell; Two sons, J.H. Adams of Peoria, Ill. and Gary Adams of Zion, Ill.; Two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Stevens of Zion and Mrs. Barbara Hughes of Fulton, Miss.; Two stepsons, Charles Pickle of Laingsburs, Mich., and Wayne Pickle of Arcadia, Fla.; Three sisters, Mrs. Flossie Bowman and Mrs. Lois Muse, both of Zion, and Mrs. Lela Hickerson of Altheimer, Ark.; Twenty grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were Jan. 9 at the Wardell Church of the Nazarene, the Rev. William Quillin officiating. with burial in Portageville Cemetery, Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell in charge.
Pallbearers were Joe Haven, Sonny Welch, Charley Thompson, Charles Maroney, Bill Cooley and Johnny Wallace.
