Born Juan Dalmau Comas, he had trained as an actor on stages in Barcelona before moving to southern Spain and make the leap to the big screen with over 55 years old. He played during decades secondary characters for filmmakers like Vicente Aranda, who worked on "Si te dicen que caí" (1989), Montxo Armendariz in "Secretos del corazón" (1997) and "Silencio roto" (2001), "El crimen de Cine Oriente", by Pedro Costa, or Robert Santiago in "El club de los suicidas" (2007). One of his most important roles was in "Soldiers of Salamina" by David Trueba, and in 2004, Alejandro Amenabar chose him to another major role in "The Sea Inside". His last film was "Julia's Eyes" (2010) by Guillermo Morales. He also participated in television series "Vientos de agua" and "Angels i Sants".
