Chief William Charles Rogers
Birth: Dec. 13, 1847
Death: Nov. 8, 1917

He served in the Civil War enlisting at the age of 14 in lst regiment, Cherokee Volunteers (Co.E.) of the Confederate Army. He later farmed near Skiatook, Oklahoma and pursued an active political career in the Cherokee Congress. (bio by: Patricia Mechling)
